AlumiPlate coatings are certified to MIL-DTL-83488 and NAS 4006.

AlumiPlate’s coatings are 100% REACH / RoHS compliant thin dense high purity aluminum and are the preferred replacement technology for cadmium coatings, a toxic and antiquated process still widely used throughout the military and aerospace industry. AlumiPlate coatings have no Cr⁶⁺, no Ni, no Zn, no Cd, they are pure Al.

As required by the International Traffic In Arms Regulation (ITAR), AlumiPlate maintains current registration with the Directorate of Defense Trade and Controls (DDTC).

ITAR Compliance

Department of Defense suppliers and OEMs rely on ITAR-compliant vendors when developing classified parts. AlumiPlate is registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls for these stringent regulations. Any company that imports or exports items on the United State’s Munitions list must abide by these regulations in the interest of national security.

There are three important measures we take to ensure ITAR compliance:

1. Access Controls: We restrict access to sensitive information.
2. System Management: We ensure all of our computer systems are secure and updated.
3. Secure Data Transmission: We comply with customer protocols for receipt of sensitive electronic files.
